The 3-crank model adds independent legrest adjustment, offering greater positioning flexibility for post-surgical, respiratory, and long-stay patients. Frames are constructed from epoxy-coated steel with fold-down side rails, integrated IV pole sockets, and lockable castors for ward positioning. Manual beds require no electrical infrastructure, making them practical for facilities with inconsistent power supply a relevant consideration for many Uganda-based and East African healthcare settings.
